WORKERS: SURF THERAPY INSTRUCTOR (IST)

❖ Surf Therapy Instructors (ISTs) are key middle management figures responsible for implementing and coordinating surf therapy session protocols under the supervision of the Surf Therapy Instructor Coordinator (ISTC).

❖ Their main responsibilities include:

1. Session Coordination: Supervise and direct the activities of volunteers and family members involved in surf therapy sessions for participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 1 (G1 TEA), ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.

2. Operational Oversight: Manage the daily tasks and roles assigned within the surf therapy session, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and effectively, in line with the ISTC’s instructions.
